Presentation

The goal of the Local Funding Program is to give a certain degree of financial autonomy to IPSO candidates from the different Regions (Latin America, Europe, North America) in order to support initiatives, events or projects that benefit the development of candidates.

The financial support can be allocated to any aspects that may facilitate the success of an event.

The amount of 5,000 USD will be allocated yearly to the Local Funding Program, with a maximum of 1,000 USD per funding initiative.

Procedure to Apply

Any IPSO candidate can apply for the Local Funding Program. The candidate, or group of candidates, sends an Application Form, with the necessary documents (see the list on the form). Applications will be evaluated by the IPSO Treasurer and Regional Vice President on a first-come-first-served basis to allocate funds for valid requests.

Beneficiaries

Funding from the Local Funding Program will always be focused towards benefiting a group of IPSO candidates, it is not an individual benefit, nor an award. IPSO ExCom members may not apply for Local Funding Program funding.

Management of Funds

Once funds have been allocated, an individual must be designated as the person responsible for the management of funds and accountability. Funds will be given either in advance or reimbursed, in accordance with what the beneficiaries and IPSO agree on in each individual situation.
